Pidapipò Gelateria (Melbourne, AUSTRALIA) ★★★☆☆

We're definitely not leaving Carlton without having something sweet. Pidapipò Gelateria was a gelateria that came highly recommended by our friends here in Melbourne so we decided to take a short walk from The Town Mouse, where we just finished our lunch this afternoon.



This is a place which is well known by the locals for their artisanal Italian-style gelato made fresh daily using high-quality ingredients and seasonal fruits sourced locally.



Not surprisingly, there's a small lineup waiting in front of the shop waiting to be served.



We already got tipped that they have the best pistachio and watermelon gelato in town and that's precisely what we ended up with. I thought the pistachio was really really good. Silky smooth and full of wonderful (and rich) pistachio flavors. The watermelon flavor was not bad but I didn't fall head over heels for it like I did with the pistachio flavor.
